We had a GREAT time camping this weekend!
we went to Icicle Creek which is in Leavenworth, WA.
The weather was perfect... no warmer than 80 with just enough wind to keep the majority of the bugs away!
We went with our friends Megan, David & Lindsey.
We camped right on the river which was FAST!!...and Matt was able to fish right where we were camping (didn't catch any thing though :(
We all enjoyed smores, hiking along the river, enjoying the gorgeous views, eating camping food...we had pancakes for breakfast one morning and found a fly in the batter...while it was frying on the pan! i thought about sneaking it on someones plate...just kidding! it went straight to the garbage can! :)
Although we already knew that Hudson was an amazing climber (probably where the nickname "Monkey" comes from) it was so much fun to see him climb and manuever himself on all of the rocks!
Camden had a blast riding his bike! we had about a 1/2 mile loop that was paved around the campground that we went on several times and our campsite actually had a small dirt trail that Camden mountain biked on several times all by himself! he loved it! in fact, Camden even rode in his pajamas, first thing in the morning!
We can't wait until the next time we get to go camping (probably in August)
