This week we got several truckloads of dirt, trying to get our front yard level enough to bring in some topsoil and yes, plant some grass. after 5 years here we are working on our front yard! So Matt spent the majority of the day out on his tractor moving dirt around.
A couple of weekends ago Matt built me some new raised beds for our vegetable garden in a new location so today he not only moved the fill dirt but got a load of topsoil and moved that around too.
Emerson loved watching Daddy ride the tractor out the front window. But after a little while I thought, we can do better than that! So Matt took her on a little tractor ride. She wasn't sure at first but at the end she didn't want to get off. She loved her first tractor ride!
Our friends and neighbors Holly, Brooke & baby Skylar came over today to visit for a little while. Although Emerson still has very few words, she made it quite clear that she wanted Brooke to come sit in the chair and read a book with her. It was pretty sweet, the two of them sitting there together.

looks like a good friday! i signed up to see the post each time you update so hopefully that will work. Friday I... went to work, worked, went to Pet Expo to set up, set up, went home, watched Country Strong (surprisingly good, but sad...) & went to bed. :) That's what I did "today." looking forward to seeing the next one...
